The Terranean Tinge
Event Navigation

The Terranean Tinge makes their first Rockland County appearance at Union Arts Center! Created by saxophonist Matt Garrison in October 2016 as a one off engagement at Rosemary and Vine restaurant in Rye, NY, Terranean Tinge quickly turned into an ongoing favorite in Westchester. Garrison quickly began composing new music to fit the style of the club, using different defining characteristics of Turkish, Lebanese, and American jazz music. The musicians chosen all have different cultural and musical backgrounds and contribute their personal flavors to each new and original piece. The music contains many different “grooves” but all songs stress singable melodies.
