Emma studied yoga at the source, Rishikesh, India, where she received her certification to teach. She originally took up the practice of yoga to help heal her injured back and auto-immune disorder. Her yoga classes are both challenging and relaxing but will leave you focused and ready to start your day. Fusing traditional vinyasa, hatha and ashtanga with core strength and cardiovascular training to deliver a goal-oriented yoga practice. She considers herself a change agent and hopes to inspire her students to work on developing their full physical and mental potential. At 41, she has been a fitness professional for 20 years and is a certified NASM personal trainer, group fitness, spin, and anti-gravity yoga instructor as well as being a holistic nutritionist.
Emma hasn’t been in the fitness bubble all of these years, either. A former healthcare management consultant for 15 years at a Big 4 firm, she knows how demanding our careers can be and the challenges that come with managing a healthy work-life balance (she wrote a book about it). She is also an inspiring keynote speaker and published author*. Emma has lived in four different countries and is fluent in 3 languages.
Yoga mats and equipment are provided. Please bring a towel and some water, if you need it.
